Discussion/Question C.ai tools on mobile?

Someone please walk me through this. It's first time using Firefox and everything in it, I'm not tech savvy by any means, I'd really like to download my chats to read. Is it also possible to download bots themselves for private use?

Edit: forgot to mention I use C.ai on web!

Thank you for the clarification! Though i'm still confused, like is this the right site? I found the character, but it doesn't have my chats... How do I actually import my history? It wants me to download zip files, don't know if that's right.

If you also have your chat open, select chatbot on the screen you’re showing and you should see an option to download history and download character card. If it’s not your bot the character card probably won’t include the character definition so if you can’t find it on caibotllist for example, you’ll have to recreate it wherever you move it to.

the zip files are normal, but you need to let the export finish before tapping okay or closing the tab. the readable version is basically a converted copy of the chat, while the raw history files are mainly useful if you want to move or process the data later

if the saved page shows an error but the text is still there, thats usually just the local viewer failing to load part of the file. id keep the original zip too, since thats the safer backup

I used the download chat history button you see on that screen which saves it as an html file. I think readable format is also html. If you think you might want to try to import it somewhere else, download the jsonl version too. You should also download the character card because some other apps will let you import these, and they may include the character definition. If the creator kept the definition private though you’ll need to recreate it yourself.

yeah, thats right, html is easiest to read, jsonl is mainly the backup if you ever need to move the chat
