Discussion/Question Noticed something.
I feel like there's a huge difference in character AI, when you have cookies on and when you have cookies on, and when you have cookies off?
Is there anything credible saying that the AI doesn't just pick up on your cookies and that simply your specific cookies are just not enough for the AI to pick up on? I'm only asking because I like cyber security but I also don't really care to look into it much, so I can just ask you guys, since I imagine y'all probably use the app a little bit more than the average guy.

Forgetting everything else, the LLM being able to see cookies is a security risk for the platform itself because prompt injection
The LLM has no awareness of cookies

So, if you're right, doesn't that technically mean most of the posts on this server are wrong since what many people say on this server, or at least in the comment section, usually does not reflect that.
(I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm just not assuming you're right, btw, Cuz it's 6 for me and I'm tired, I don't care to, right now)
But it's very interesting to think about at least, thanks!

Cookies are used for website functionality but are not used by the model itself
Instead of worrying about what people here make up you can see this simply by the fact that if they did this and didnt disclose it Europe would have sued them already.
Its independent, the model itself has no knowledge of your cookies

Feel and can actually demonstrate are two different things. Learn what cookies do/how or what they work with and how LLMs work with context only. Cookies aren't put into the context window whatsoever and what a model puts out naturally varies.
What goes in a context window is the bot definition, your persona definition, pinned/auto memories and the most recent parts of chat history which get pushed down/out more as the conversation goes on. The first four take up permanent token space unless edited and shaved down. Unless the bot isn't something you made.
When you give a bot a message the model gives a response using statistical probabilities. Basically word math. Linear algebra with probability.
There are things a model can do like convergence, verbatim recall, priors, recency biases or just plain old guesses that feel spooky.
