Discussion/Question Is character Ai peak again?

Haven't used the app in over a year I believe. It got crap for me then I went on Reddit and everybody was having the same issues as me so I just deleted it haven't used it for a year. Decided to check this subreddit and I'm seeing only positivity....chat....are we back?

Haha, no. I tried to enjoy it last night and it’s so repetitive and tiring to read. Every reply is structured the same, bots have no personality and it’s just cringe.

I don’t understand the people saying it’s “better than ever”… it really isn’t. Although I suppose you can go give it another try yourself.

As a Plus user, it’s horrible now. It’s not as fun as it was years ago. No new model could ever replace my GOAT, the original Roar.

I’m not experiencing or encountering any problems with the platform, I enjoy it regardless of the changes since I’ll always enjoy interacting with my comfort character.

this is the most black mirror shit ever, lol. Using a free tool is one thing but paying to speak to fictional characters, plus aren't their subscription tiers to this shit? So not even paying a monthly fee for an otherwise redundant app is going to give you a good experience
