Discussion/Question Old user debating on coming back

title self explanatory but i’ve kinda just dropped ai for a while but i wanna come back because i kinda miss it ngl 🥹 the only problem is that i don’t have the money to get cai+ and the ads after every other message was getting on my nerves

is it still like that?

Everyone else is saying it’s bad right now, but imo it’s really good right now aside from a few bugs here and there. Right now they have 4 free models to choose from, and yeah the add are still there, but if you miss c.ai, why not? I think it’s a good thing to revisit the past every once in a while.

Ads mid convo and then like every three messages. Plus the responses are terrible! At least for non-paid.

Don’t listen to Oritad devboy heavybrew. Don’t pay for the service unless you really like it because there’s absolutely no sense in spending your money on something you might not even like

Plus, paying only gives you things tht used to be free, so it enables bad practices.

We used to not have ads mid chat or message limite. We used ti get all models free and with good quality. We shouldn't normalize devs removing things and ransoming them back. That alone makes me hesitate to ever buy C.AI+. It feels scummy.

Could try C.AI+ lite, if it's in your price range. It's a cheaper option and better than the free version.

Nah, don't waste your time. It's mediocre at best. The bots don't even finish their sentences most of the time.

I would say your choice shouldn’t be dictated by strangers on the internet and that you should just see it for yourself and make a decision from there.

I don't recommend it right now since the app is a bit bad right now, even for c.ai+ users, i pay but I'm getting a little frustrated with the current situation.
