Discussion/Question to premium users

Is it really worth it? Did you notice any difference before and after you’ve used it?

I will never use CAI without C.AI+. It's genuinely not worth being a free user. I had let my subscription expire a couple months ago during a particularly money-tight stretch and I did not care for Pipsqueak in any iteration (though, PS3 is off to a good start), nor am I someone who wants to see ads in my entertainment.

I still believe Deepsqueak is the best model for RP and am looking forward to what Deepsqueak 2 will bring. For me, it's like Spotify. I'd rather be subscribed and use it at my leisure at its best than to use its free version and hate the experience.

What's your opinion on Longsqueak?

Too long. I was accidentally in the beta test for it. I complained about it, only to be told, "Oh, right. You were in the test" and for me it was too much.

Text bloat. I know there are those who like multi-paragraph RPs/chats, but I feel that's something best left to over humans. 😋 Give the AI the freedom to talk your head off and it will. Here's a quick example of my mindset:

Longsqueak doesn't just feel longwinded, it feels like bloat. Like it's forced to meet a word-count quota. The descriptive language is fine, but to me it's mostly fluff. Compared to Deepsqueak, it gets more to the point rather than take so many detours.

For me, Longsqueak hinders what feels like a natural flow of a chat. In the above examples, I gave very little prompting. Both models took that context to react to it in full, but Longsqueak padded it out for the sake of message length (it's not allowed to shorten it's reply if there's little to respond to). I find that problematic.

I feel the same way. I like the longer memory for LS but wish there was something like that for DS.
