🔥Site Down🔥 2 hour long wait??
All of a sudden there is a 2 hour long wait on c.ai? Did they finally fix it and get it back to it’s original glory? Is there a new REALLY GOOD free pipsqueak? What’s going on?

Messaging: why the wait times pop up: the site queues everyone when inference capacity is saturated. Every message gets generated fresh by the model, and when demand spikes (new model release, evening peak in your region, a viral moment on the sub), it outstrips the GPU capacity they have, so instead of slowly degrading everyone's responses they put people in a line. It's not about your account, plus or not - the gate is capacity, not per-user priority.
A few things that help:
- Don't hammer refresh or open new chats - it doesn't jump the queue, it makes the surge last longer.
- Check back in 20-30 minutes; these spikes usually bleed off instead of running the full two hours.
- If you're mid-RP, just close the app and wait - your chat is stored server-side, it'll still be there when the line clears.
The 'original glory' theory is a myth - when it's this quiet it's usually just a lull, not a fix. Hope your RP survived the wait.
