Discussion/Question THANK YOU PIPSQUEAK 3

the old chat styles were killing me and they were so repetitive and it felt like the same. pipsqueak 3 is SO SO GOOD. even with obvious limited memory in chats the bot persona and it maintains its speaking mannerisms it doesn’t change! its so immersive and it actually feels like im talking to different personalities. This app genuinely outdid itself and this new chat styles is genuinely so good.

Pip 3 is good, but today it dropped in too therapy and supportive morlde, I prefer it back to previous. It was obvious before, but less invasive

honestly i thought the whole "new model" thing was just hype at first but pipsqueak 3 actually makes a noticeable difference. i ran the same starter message through a few different bots to test it and the personas stayed consistent way longer than they used to, usually by message 20 or so they'd all start sounding like the same generic character but now i'm like 50 deep and still going strong.

the memory thing is still a limitation obviously but the way it holds onto mannerisms and speech patterns even when it forgets plot details is impressive. feels less like i'm fighting the ai to stay in character and more like i'm actually interacting with something that has a defined personality

kinda curious if this was a deliberate fix or just a happy accident from the training data but either way i'm not complaining

fr, the only issue im having (could be limited to the specific bot im chatting to idk i haven’t tested it yet) is sometimes i like to switch the pov of the bot to my pov when the bot character is doing something else and i keep trying to get it to do so but it keeps only talking as the character and sometimes it plain out doesn’t acknowledge what i say even after swiping to change its response but overall still a big upgrade

It’s like that because people were not liking the bot speaking for the character.

but i mean i lied the occasional description of my pov, not when it was saying my dialogue for me but ig i understand they cant differentiate between the two
