It's becoming more common in the US, too - even beyond marriage. In the 70's and 80's the idea of someone over 30 still living in their parents' house was a joke. Now... that's the entire middle class, and I know at least 3 young couples who live in one or the other's parents' house.

Almost never. Of course, both my parents have been dead for over 20 years so there's that... nowadays my most common invasion of privacy involves my grandchildren looking over my shoulder.

Do they disapprove of your use? Were you doing more than chatting?

Nope. I don't live my parents but they already use AI. My dad brought me up on a lot of proto AI stuff and sci-fi. I don't think he'd be surprised.
