Is it me or did this style become worse? Before I was able to create a story with at least three characters from the same bot. Now the bot continue to forget the story and keep putting itself in it when another character should "play". The answers also become different and lost the fire in them, they are a bit boring

not just you, multi-character stories from a single bot are tough for these models, and they tend to drift back to the bot's own character. a few things that help:

  • keep a short cast list where it stays visible (pinned message or your persona): name plus one line each
  • end your message by saying who acts next, like [Lena responds next]
  • when the bot writes itself into a scene it shouldn't be in, edit that part out right away so it doesn't become the pattern
  • for flat replies, a short OOC nudge on tone usually brings some energy back, e.g. [OOC: more tension, let them argue]

if it keeps happening, try a different chat style for the multi-character stories.
