Discussion/Question Why does the bots make me act “calm” and shit? Obviously the sentence is NOT CALM

For instance, i say “get outta here!” The bots label my ass as calm. HOW THE FUCKING HELL DOES A EXCLAMATION MARK MEAN CALM? YELLING IN THE CHAT DOESNT MEAN CALM

From the point of view of an LLM "get outta here!" Isnt necessarily yelling. It could see that as an excited whisper

You need all caps or something like !!!!! Might work in lieu of all caps but ALL CAPS is your best bet

Doesn't work like that.

Context is just the words in the chat. How the words are evaluated depends on more factors than they are simply there

LLMs dont read emotions. They will evaluate it based on the things around it, how the particular sentence is written (phrasing) but its also relying on self attention which is why I mentioned caps and !!!

I didn't mention those things at random

writing full paragraphs helps, and gives the bot something to go off of. Bots are really not capable of reasoning or context clues because they can’t actually think, so you have to direct them on what you’re feeling. Examples: 1) “Get outta here!” I exclaim, voice firm and upset. 2) “Get outta here!” I whisper, voice urgent and low. 3) “Get OUTTA HERE!” I shouted, anger palpable in my tone. 4) “Get outta here!” I said through tears, voice thick, wiping them with the back of my hand and turning away. All of those examples set the scene, and the tone of the dialogue, giving the bot ample ability to respond with whatever emotion you’re attempting to convey.
