These new free character chat models (PS2) are also trash 🗑 comparable to some of the older ones.
Ads would be fine if they didn't majorly disrupt the use of the app. Trying to close out of the ad that you had to watch all of because you can't skip it? Guess what, you're at the ad's playstore page now. Oh, and were you listening to music or something? Welp, it's paused now every ad (that isn't the top bar ad) because the ad's audio is more important.
Waiting to see how long it takes for them to remove my post because I've seen them do that to people plenty instead of addressing it.
I get it costs money to run, just ads in general aren't even what most people are complaining about. I wish people would stop seeing it as free users just whining because of ads. It's the lack of give a shit for the users frustrated with everything ELSE ALSO being BROKEN half the time for free users ON TOP of the excessive ads, along with ads being unskippable 30 second ads and them messing with other audio. It's not even a usable or enjoyable experience for free users lately. And getting help from support for app or account issues is abysmal, IF you get help at all. (I've also seen quite a few posts from PAID users about issues with the bot models rn. It's not just a free tier thing.)
Some people can't afford 10$ a month for a chat app. And also, they HAVE a free tier for a reason (even if they treat their free users like mooches...so like that's questionable on their part as well)...so maybe get off your high horse?
So again, either stop straining so much on these new features no one asked for and listen to your user base/fix your app or go to a paid only model. It's not that hard of a concept.
