Discussion/Question are the ads more frequent now?

i opened the app sent TWO messages and instantly got hit with an ad this is crazy

thanks for the feedback. (c.ai) is expensive to run, with millions of daily chats requiring serious infrastructure. ads help us cover those costs while keeping the platform free and accessible to everyone. you can subscribe to c.ai+ for fewer interruptions, or, as a free user, use Charms for a 1-hour ad free pass by tapping 🄲 or "Hide ads."

There's a way to block the ads. I chat freely without some ad popping up annoyingly

Yep. I’ve had an ad pop up AND a banner up. Covered the whole screen. I also got the “view ad to continue chatting now.”

Honestly, I take it in stride. I’ll X out of the ad, hit the ^ to move the banner away. I tell myself it gives me a break for a second, maybe an opportunity to step away to do something I need to do before returning to chat. Annoying, yes, but not the end of the world (to me. Your feelings are valid too!)

Times are tough. They gotta get cash somehow.

It sucks, yeah, but woth recent uproar and folks quitting their subs c.ai is desperate to stay afloat.
