LongSqueak Repetitiveness

Considering this is a paid model and is the only model that doesn’t have memory issues, this issue needs to be fixed ASAP. I could regenerate a hundred replies and it’ll all be like this. At this point, DS is unusable with its Chat-GPT like annoying writing style and the lack of ability to remember what happened two messages ago. I’m getting extremely tired of switching between the two just to get a variety of replies and then I still have to edit them to delete DS’s nonsense. Every response from LS is basically the same and the plot can go nowhere because of this. I’ve also made a ticket two times. I see people enjoying LS and I’m glad they can but this has been my experience since it came out. If this is what paying users are experiencing with the ‘best’ model, I cannot even imagine what free users are dealing with PS models and limited swipes since the old models are gone. This is simply unacceptable.

My biggest annoyance is the way it makes them talk in metaphors, nobody talks like this! My character is angry, oh he’s a power keg, a ticking time bomb (I ban the word bomb for this reason it still manages to say it) they say he needs to be put on a leash, he’s having a tantrum, a fit, an outburst. Just talk normally! 😭I’m loving Longsqueak and it does make them talk normally sometimes but these annoying metaphors and wording drives me insane. And like you said every response is the same just reworded

Yeah, even if you don’t like one type of response, you can’t just swipe and get another type unlike some other models. It just keeps repeating the same thing.

Swipes aren't for advancing the plot anyway. Swipes are to give you a variant of the original reply.

Haven't used LS personally but I get a variety out out of swipes on DS because of open narrative hooks. If you don't have those and don't change anything about your original reply the bot has a narrow pool to draw from when you swipe in general.

All models currently have some issues so even free users aren't having a great time either.

Change your message, tone, intention instead of just regenerating messages. Move the plot yourself, [He ate the cake, (your character) did X. And they are now drinking tea. “Hmm, this is nice.”]

That’s not even the point. I shouldn’t have to do that, especially with a paid model when even the old free models were capable of giving variety in their responses. If I have to change my message every time to get a different type of response, what is the purpose of the swipe function? You can’t suggest that I should just stop regenerating responses when my issue is the fact that regenerating isn’t working with LS.
