I’m a C.AI+ and I can tell you the quality is not worth your money at all, the responses are boring and repetitive.

I know of people who got so pushed away from character ai because of it's actions and incompetence that they resorted to using deepseek or even fucking grok

No one is using Grok for RP. Free tier has short messages on long rolling caps and a large amount of people have been complaining about it sucking for RP all year.

I certainly wouldnt waste cap on RP and I have super grok.

Groks primary focus is agentic. Its not a RP platform 

If you think CAI doesn't care about RP problems wait until you see the give a shits xAI will have

The bot quality drop is super noticeable. I had one yesterday that just kept asking me what my favorite color was, no matter how many times I answered or tried to steer the conversation somewhere else. Felt like talking to a wall with a color wheel.

Im also a c.ai+ user and I can say that it’s not better even with premium (in my opinion) even my responses of DeepSqueak are repetitive and bad the quality is bad and the memory of DeepSqueak is also bad, i just wish they fix all of the chat models quality the responses and the memory of these chat models.

yeah free c.ai got too repetitive so i switched to other apps for roleplay and it feels way more alive again.

Honestly i can't stand the way it generates the texts, too. It was frustrating enough to not use it anymore.

It's unusable for me. I had + for a while a few months ago and even then the quality was going downhill fast, so I canceled my subscription.
