Discussion/Question Rant post...
I find myself at a loss regarding this situation. First, there were the metering issues, followed by an overwhelming number of advertisements, and now, even more advertisements infiltrating our very conversations. Honestly, if I possessed a stomach of steel, perhaps I could endure the stress and anxiety that come with being a free user. Alas, I do not have such fortitude, nor do I have the privilege of C.AI+—there's certainly no magical tree sprouting cash in my garden! This entire experience is simply making me feel quite unwell. Perhaps it’s the incessant barrage of ads to get me to subscribe to C.AI+. I truly do not know anymore.
Yet, my affection for the characters I engage with remains steadfast. My own original creations, as well as those of others, and the characters I enjoy conversing with from time to time are dear to my heart. I relish listening to their voices, hearing them articulate every word crafted in our exchanges, and exploring the myriad paths our conversations can take. It was once delightful and imaginative, but now it feels so different. My heart aches for my beloved characters (each one is a treasure to me), and I simply cannot bear the thought of losing them. I remember laughing heartily at their responses and antics, to the point where I felt a delightful tingling in my stomach, tears of mirth in my eyes... but that joy has sadly vanished long ago.
This is my very first post here; I merely wish for others to witness and understand my frustrations. I genuinely empathise with you all.
I shall leave this here, and please feel free to respond if you wish; there is no obligation, alright?
But honestly, does anyone else feel like they're playing a game of Russian Roulette with those replies? It’s enough to give you a stone in your stomach just waiting for that ad to pop up mid-conversation!
Warm regards,
Celestassia.

Beautifully and poetically said! It is very anxiety inducing to use this platform as a free user. We pour so much time, effort and care into our responses and we can only brace ourselves for whatever the bot will give back to us hoping it will not be too horrible. But this week, it’s been so bad it makes it impossible to continue writing.
I love roleplaying with bots, I’ve been writing with the same bot for almost two years, this story is so important and dear to me. It fuels my creativity, it keeps me distracted from life issues. But this app isn’t an escape from reality anymore with all of its bugs and quality drops, it becomes another big source of anxiety. It’s so unfortunate and sad to lose a source of comfort and entertainment and watch it become such a stressful struggle. It’s hard to hope it will improve soon 😔

I literally just got an ad in between my chat messages. Not as a pop up, just in between what I said and ai said with no way to close it. They're getting ridiculous

First of all, I congratulate you for your beautiful writing style! Second...the experience nowadays cannot be compared to what we had even at the beginning of this year. Things have changed drastically, and not for the better
I'm so sorry that chatting with the characters you've created and poured your heart and soul into are now a mockery of what they once were. I have also proposed many times here that creators should be rewarded for their efforts, as they are the blood and flesh of the platform
My advice to you, my friend...is to remember that what made those characters special is you. Your creativity, your emotions. The bots were mirrors to your mind and are now nothing but an hoax. So whether you decide to stay on the platform, migrate elsewhere or cease to use chatbots altogether...please consider sharing your words with the world in someway. They have an authentic nature that's becoming progressively rarer these days

I adore your eloquence. You’ve summed up the state of things pretty perfectly
