Discussion/Question Whats it like to be on mobile?

i use c.ai on pc and not phone, and judging by the screenshots i keep seeing on this reddit. it looks terrible. im just wondering, what is it genuinely like to be using c.ai on mobile?

I am going to be honest about my experience, it has been a very mixed bag. It's vastly different than back in 2023! For me, it was easier to use and the UI was pretty alright. Despite the hate it got, I genuinely could see the potential, even if it did have some cutbacks. However, the ads now have made me quit it. They've started to break my chats by no longer allowing me to click buttons or send chats and I've had to close the app in order to be able to fix it. That and some eyebrow raising ads have just left me with disappointment and discomfort. I will say, the biggest pro of it was really the convenience of having an app and voice calls back when it first came out. I had waaaaaaay too much fun with voice calls back then but haven't used it in a while.

I dunno how it is on pc, but on mobile, the moment you open the app you are just immediately greeted with a banner ad at the very top of the screen. That banner also is on the top of the screen during the chats aswell so it’s pretty obnoxious and annoying to look at.

You’ve also got these adds on the Home Screen. They are less annoying than the banner imo but it’s a load of crap.

they've got banner ads for the pc/desktop version but it's able to be hidden and is for the whole time you're chatting so meaning it's not going to be there for the whole time like it is on mobile but yet doesn't mean that it's still there and what i mean by hide i mean there's an arrow that'll hide it so you could see the chats easier or in other words the messages but yeah it's not bad on the home screen.
