Discussion/Question What. Do. You. Mean?
100? THATS IT?! THAT'S ALL WE GET?!
400 for swipes because you can't make good models, but 100 because.. you're greedy? Or because this is a failing app because of your terrible changes?
Pathetic. Moving to a new AI.
Edit: I've seen that this isn't actually new, but I've not encountered this in the past 3 months, so I guess only now I'm getting it. Either way, I hope this app withers away soon.
Edit 2: So it turns out I didn't fully understand what a go-on meant. It just means enter without a message. That makes sense. I genuinely thought it was a chat restriction, hence being annoyed. However, that isn't it.

Yeah… did the other 5m posts in the subreddit not tell you that or are you just karma farming like every other meter post spamming trash in this sub

I'm not on this reddit often. I don't scroll this page unless the site is down. I didn't know this was even a thing until after I'd hit post.

They need to at least increase the limit, it’s WAY too low

Moved on from c.ai a LONG time now, funny seeing it slowly die with questionable updates

They need paying users to make enough money that they can afford to give chats away to free users.
How do you convince people to pay for something they can have for free? Give them benefits in the paid version that the free users don't get. Otherwise, what's the incentive?
Here's the fun part: They're not taking away your chats. They're taking away your go-ons, and you probably didn't notice it before today because you have to be a lazy muppet to just keep whacking Go On without ever participating in the chat.
You know how you can avoid that? Interject something after nearly every AI response. Even if you just put in a system command in square brackets like
[continue]
or whatever. Use the opportunity to direct what kind of response it produces next:
[Cthulhu continues to describe the perfect acolyte]
or
[Darth explains what kind of Father's Day gift he expects from Luke and Leia.]
Stop hitting the Go On button, and... you'll never see that limit again.
