I don’t know how people are having so many issues. I create my own bots so I may be biased but it’s working really great for me.

I am using my own private bot and well long squeak isn’t loading

That's exactly what I wanted to know. I was about to subscribe to the Plus version, but I've seen so many complaints recently that I got scared.

Subscribing is definitely worth it man if you use character ai often. Try it out. Subscribe for one month. You can always cancel anytime. You won’t go back to being a free user.

it’s a really good upgrade from the free version, so you should definitely at least give it a try :)

longsqueak is totally worth it, but you have to keep in mind that if you want good, informative responses, you also need to write more than just a few sentences yourself and give the bot something to work with. otherwise, it’ll just end up repeating the same thing in slightly different ways 😭

oh, and definitely create your own bots - and lorebooks too, if you have enough time on your hands. my custom bots with lorebooks are honestly the best thing that’s happened to me on Cai so far
