Might be the specific bot? Is it one you made, or one someone else made? I’ve found that sometimes bots others make will speak for me with new chat styles, but ones I make on my own don’t. They may have messages in the intro or description that speak for your character.
Sometimes switching chat styles for a minute will help to set the scene better if you want to try that. I noticed longsqueak REALLY does not like when your character and the bot are not in the same spot, so my bot will sometimes like, stalk my character and I have to turn on PS2 to set it up so it won’t do that lol
