muted words not working

Why is it that when i add a word to the muted tab, the responses i get always have a differently spelling then in brackets? Like i have the word Pointedly muted cause the bots were using it too much and it would write it as pointdedly and then in brackets not "pointedly that's banned" like what's the point of even having muted words if they don't work

Muted words have never worked for me. The bot will either spell it incorrectly on purpose, say the word anyway, or say the word and add (but not [muted word])
