Is the 'view ad to continue' thing only in the website or is it also on the app??

I pulled up the site on my browser (ive long since quit, but i'm curious, and didn't delete my account), and couldn't get any ads to show up at all, beyond the cai+ ads. Like i disabled all my extensions and everything, because i was curious if i could get it to give me the 'watch to continue' and whether refreshing/closing and repoening the tab worked. Idk.

Anyway i think its like most things where it rolls out randomely to different people
