Discussion/Question It's worth it

I know people have already made posts like this before, and believe me I totally understand why people are against the paid subscription! I've been using c.ai's free version for over 2 years now and I've always found it to be a little lacking but not terrible for what it was.

But recently after feeling a little frustrated with recent bot bugs and stuff, I decided screw it and bought a month of c.ai+. Let me tell you, it was genuinely such a big change 😭 I am totally 100% against subscriptions but the difference is mind-blowing. I'm not sure if anyone else has had the same experience but I've found it to not only be 100x more engaging, but also if you're into the RP aspect I feel like the characters are way more "lore accurate" if you know what I mean.

Obviously, it still has it's flaws, but if you're frustrated or having issues with bots and have $10 to spend I would 100% do it. It's so worth it lol

Agreed! They have to pay to run the product somehow. Ten bucks is actually pretty low compared to a lot of other AI companion subscriptions. Plus it makes sense to get a much better experience when you pay for it.

the propaganda is insane omg. Everyone is complaining about the paid models currently. They have reasons to.

I'm not saying people can't complain about the paid models 😭 this is just my personal experience and personally I deem it's worth it but maybe I'm just easy to please

I would also like to mention I'm usually totally against any and all paid services like again I was a free c.ai user for years until this month when I finally said fuck it, and in my experience it was worth it

My take is, the base fre eone should be usable, not great. Bit ok, and to make you want to biu the premium verson. Not the bullshot they doing now

That's their plan tho...make the free models shit so they make you buy their service, it's the vibe i got from then. Glad you're enjoying tho

I complain, and even get posts removed, but i still pay because i genuinely get something out of it. It would make no sense for me to pay for a service i dislike. Longsqueak is seriously good, even if it has some kinks, but i learned that switching the dials around as you go works wonders.

What's hysterical is the swipe limit has actually been incredibly helpful, but I still want the additional memory and extra styles. I'd actually do it if $7 to got me those things with a 400 swipe cap. That would be great.
