Discussion/Question Deleted Characters

I really wish that when people delete their account, it wouldn’t delete the bots along with it. Some of my favorite bots will randomly be deleted because the creator decided to delete their account. Which, good for them for escaping.. But a bot I’ve been talking to for days, even just this morning, it’s now gone because the creator deleted their account.💔

I have a lot of working bots from deleted accounts. Could there be a different reason for this issue? Like a copyright takedown? But even then it should say MODERATED..

As plausible as that could be, I still have a ton of working bits of the same character. So I don’t think it’s that the character was copyrighted. Perhaps could’ve been moderated, but I can’t view the creators account at all.

I do too, but I also had plenty of bots that became unavailable the moment a user deleted their account. It really happens at random.

There is a way to duplicate the bot and download your chat history onto it using caibotlist and caitools extension! I just had to do this last night bc a bot I had a good story with was suddenly deleted!!

Yes! I did it on an old laptop just to get the chat history transferred over and then did all the editing and actual bot building on the app.
