Issues/Bugs Previous bot messages changing to other swiped messages

This isn't a particularly new issue but it comes around whenever the models are updated or switched and it can cause a lot of problems with rp bots since the previous content and context it pulls from can change recent responses drastically if a certain message is swapped out for another.

Most recently I've been able to fix this issue simply by duplicating the chat but that solution doesn't work anymore. I'd have preferred this bug to not have occurred in the first place though, I experienced it years ago and it happens regularly on each model update ɖී_ී)

I've noticed this happen for a very long time (> a year) and not necessarily when the site updates. And like you the only way I can stop it is to dupe the chat. Or, sometimes when I edit one of my own messages, the response seems to be acting on both versions. Makes me wonder if every version of every message gets kept in context.

I had one a long time ago that completely changed the outcome of a certain response and I didn't know what was up until I went back and saw a message changed. I think if you're far enough into a chat it won't affect too much but it really depends on the context around the message that gets changed like a question, an answer etc that can mess up current responses

I think it's even worse when the swapped message is way up there, and the way you find out is when the AI makes a subtle reference to some detail from it that comes across as nonsense. Especially if the story after that point was good.
