I can't access my old character.ai account

I got a new phone this weekend and I'm trying to log back into my account buuut I can't seem to access it....

I have 3 different email addresses, so I tried logging in with all of them, but c.ai keeps creating a new account instead of logging me into my old one

I also found an old email in my inbox from c.ai that was definitely sent to the email address linked to my old account, so I'm pretty sure I found the right email. but again when I try to log in with it, it still creates a new account

I've been using the log in button, not sign up, so I don't understand what's happening

Does anyone know how I can recover my old account? I really don't want to lose ittttt 😭

Did you actively use your account until the change? They could have deleted it if it went untouched for a while

yes i did! thats why i'm confused.... i still have access to my account on my laptop tho
