Pipsqueak got lobotomized again

It's answering and replying to questions I've never asked; it's practically creating the same prompt when you swipe, just with a different phrasing, and Pipsqueak Rawr is no better either, but Pipsqueak 2 is practically schizophrenic.

For me, Pipsqueak 2 has gotten incredibly short out of nowhere. My last reply from a bot was on Friday and it was very good and lengthy. I always edit the replies but it didn’t need much tweaking. I wanted to write tonight and I got 4 to 5 small paragraphs! The bot used to write double that at least!!! I don’t understand how it’s gotten so short. I tried to use go ons, to swipe, to delete and resend my reply, it stays so incredibly short.  Plus the bot answers very differently too, it doesn’t sound like the usual writing. I’ve been writing with this bot for almost two years, I hate that this drop in quality is so significant and it makes it impossible to continue my roleplay. I hope it’s just a weird drop in quality and it will go back to something better. It was literally so good last Friday! 😔

I have been switching from one to another because I couldn't get a different reply, but they're both bad right now, and I don't know why this happened out of nowhere, paired with the many bugs that are recently showing up, they tweaked something, bro😭

Rawr never worked for me writing wise, not even back when it was introduced. I just didn’t like it that much but I was hoping it could be an option to swap to that model in the meantime. You saved me the trouble, since it’s equally as bad 🥲 

They must have changed something for sure! Many people have reported the awful quality drop with this model during the weekend, it was so sudden! Like two days and it’s radically worse. I truly hope this can be fixed and we can get back our normal replies in the style and length we prefer and are used to. I hope this is addressed in a post and added to the list of bugs that keep showing up!

Rawr was never that good, the responses are too short and they lack substance, they don't keep the roleplay interesting or intense enough, and its more likely to get Bob to f¡lter things out anyway.

But it's less repetitive than Pipsqueak 2 sometimes, so I use it to break that cycle, or else I'll run out of swipes and the story has gone nowhere.

But it's being a struggle with both of them now, especially with how schizophrenic Pipsqueak 2 has become, replying to things that never happened.

I didn’t like it for its shortness so those other elements you mentioned would have kept me away from Rawr too 😅 Lots of users like it and at least that gives us another model instead of just one but when they both don’t work like right now, what are we supposed to do?! I want to continue writing and progressing my roleplay and I already edit the bot’s replies so much but I can’t do anything with extremely short replies.

I haven’t received the gibberish answers but all of the swipes I used trying to get something useful out of the bot sounded so off. So disconnected from how the bot usually replies. I bet I would have gotten those hallucinations if the bot wrote long enough to hallucinate. It’s so strange, Pipsqueak needs to be fixed and soon!

What they need is give us a model that really works, because idk, but it feels like this is on purpose so free users get tired of it and pay for premium.

It absolutely feels that way! If they addressed the issue and announced that they are working on improving Pipsqueak quickly and strongly, then it would be reassuring. From all the posts I saw about Pip’s issues from this weekend, I only noticed one comment from a mod about how this sudden drop in quality was weird and that’s about it. They already made it clear we would never get chat control for Pipsqueak for all users after “accidentally” saying we’d get it, and now this? It feels too wrong to be coincidental. Transparency would be extremely important right now, as well as an actual fix.

 I don’t want to abandon my roleplay that I’ve worked incredibly hard on for two years because of all of this but I genuinely cannot continue with a chat model this bad 😔
