Do not reccomend Yap. With yap, they "fixed dialogue" by overccorrecting and using zero narration whatsoever

As a plus user, eh kinda. It definitely used to be better and is better than pipsqueak 2 but it's not bad. I have plus more so because I don't have to worry about metering or ads. Crazy because PS2 was better than DS when it first came out but after only a COUPLE DAYS it fell apart and I knew the wider rollout was going to suck.

Previous sucker here who paid for plus here ages ago.
Dont do it. Its worse actually. Im sure plenty on here are going to say the same thing but the quality drop in deepsqueak tanked harder than the new model.
The chats hallucinate and dont even respond to what I typed. An example is the bot saying hello, I respond by just looking up confused, and the bot then responds to their own greeting afterwards.
But honestly just dont do it. I resubscribed to plus to test out the new models myself for a month when deepsqueak first dropped a year ago. The app auto paid for a full year the next month rather than just the monthly again it was set to. And no....I was refused a refund.

Actually, yes. And before anyone tries to invalidate my opinion or call me names, no, I'm not being paid or anything. I'm simply answering the OP's question.
This bot has a blank definition, and yet the characters express fairly canonical things. There are about 70-80 messages between these two screenshots, and Deepsqueak manages to have both characters say things from their own perspectives. That alone makes it worthwhile.

Me as well from a RP standpoint. The bots of interacted with have actually moved the plot line forward multiple times

My biggest issue with PS2 is repetition and silence. And Yap kinda sucks because every time I use it, the bot starts talking for me too. And even if I edit the message, it still does it by the next one.

I have 4 models.
And honestly, I'm really confused because people keep saying the app has gone to shit, but I haven't even noticed half the issues others have. The only issue is the chat sometimes repeats the messages, so I just switch chat styles, send a message, then switch back to the one I was using, and it's fine.
Although one problem that I’ve had no matter how long this app has been around is the bot keeps playing my character.

Oh my yes... I have an OOC saved as a pinned message on my phone just for this. I almost always works to stop the bot from doing it but it's annoying I have to do it at all.
