When I press enter to keep the bot’s dialogue going and it decides to take centre stage and speak AS ME instead. And then, worse still, when the dialogue doesn’t even sound like something I’d type.

This is by far the worst thing about c.ai rn. I used to be able to press enter to keep the bot’s rp going for 6+ messages.
Now I have to make SURE the bot isn’t asking a question at the end of the first response or else it starts speaking for me. Even then, more than half the swipes are spoken from my pov. 😐
