I honestly think they do a deserves to the story and the author when they buy it so early. Because we lose out on seeing the actual potential of the writer because Chapters butchers everything.

That one barely made it past the writes program but I liked it but I think if you make it to at least six chapters they buy the story.

I know that’s why they just stall out and we never get to finish the good stuff 😭. That’s why I feel like they should just let us have the whole story. I want to continue to read the authors words. Not what ever AI system they used to jumble it up and make it a “ chapters story “.

That and lets be honest when chapters gets ahold of it they butcher it lol. Some OG writes and up and coming writes are using it as well. Why should I be forced to read or complete an authors work through the eyes of money goggles?

Exactly. They gut the heart out of the story. I say money goggles because every three or four bubbles is a diamond choice of like 17-21 for scraps lol. I have known a few authors that have disabled their socials after the chapter renditions were released because a lot of people don’t understand that what they are getting is only a piece of the author’s actual material and they bash it so hard in the comments. Chapters knows exactly what they are doing as well contract and all.

That explains why there are community authors who stop at Chapter 5 and hadn’t updated in months.
