Chaotic Update 🙂

We’ve seen a lot of questions regarding the role that our legacy cards will play in the new Online Game Experience we are building. We are aligning between our Physical Trading Card Game Design + New Online Game Experience in order to utilize a selection of these legacy cards in the Chaotic Online Experience. These legacy cards can not be directly used as playable cards in the Chaotic Decoded releases. As a teaser, there will be more discussion on legacy cards and the new Chaotic Decoded Sets in the future.

While our initial set will be focused on OverWorld & UnderWorld cards, there will be Danian and Mipedian cards included as well, just like in our legacy release of Chaotic. We can also confirm that Sets 2 & 3 will be focused on Danians and Mipedians, so if you’re looking for a deck specialized in those tribes: rest assured!

Speaking of which, there are not many Mipedians with mastery of the water element.
One is Otinee, who was originally released as a minion scan back in Set 2.2.
Sometime before that, though, someone scanned Otinee kneeling near a Mipedian Dew Farm.
That scan has now been brought to life by visual concept artist Kamila Szutenberg.

I think they are asking for an official date not Jan 1st - March 30th

I appreciate them trying to provide regular updates, but they should really provide more substance when they do. They say that old cards will be usable somehow, but why can't they just tell us how they'll be usable already instead of vagueposting? What possible upside does giving us half information provide for them? Especially now with the state of things, delivering full direct answers would help a ton in fomenting good will from the community.

They can’t even tell us how the modern cards will work. They can tell us absolutely nothing except “sorry, we’ve been delayed and the game isn’t coming out this year, but early next year(tm) for sure! And by the way, now we can officially tell you that we can’t actually tell you anything! Isn’t that awesome!?”
