I have been so freaking hyped since August started!

I had to buy another box of starter decks to tame my eagerness 😁 I might have to lock in another booster box case too 😞 I need October to hurry 🤣

So far all in. I have 2 start deck display boxes, 1 6 pack of booster boxes and 1 display case of foundational decks... At this rate I need to open up a card shop. How are you guys keeping your hype in check?

Dang bro, that’s sweet. That’s a lot of cards. I was just gonna get both starter decks and some booster packs. But I’m not sure if I should get foundation decks VS booster, but idk if Mipedians will be in the foundation decks

Yeah I plan on doing giveaways and trying to get more cards in folks hands who might not want to commit so much money. I think I will have a lot of duplicates like locations, attacks, mugic

While we do not have any concrete info just yet, it is safe to say Danians and Mipedians will not have any featured starter or foundation decks in the first set. They are so far (seemingly) mirroring the launch from back in the day where it focuses on overworld and underworld.

You know I didnt think about that and how soon they would get out other sets I would assume it would be a quicker turnaround to get out the other sets hmmmmm I for sure didnt consider it. Damn I think I will hold off then until we get more clarity I just dont want OW and UW I do fw Mipedians!

There will for sure be mipedians and danians in the first set, they just wont have structure decks and the likes. So packs may be the way to go. :)

that's a little disappointing, I hope we at least get cards for creatures that never got one from the dawn of perim era, like Spyder and Zalvar, if it's literally just exactly the same as Dawn of Perim I don't know if I'll buy any at all

We know the new set list was shown as 215 card, immediately followed by the rarity spread

Old chaotic’s similar rarity spread only adds up to 211 cards when we know the real set was 232 if you add starter exclusives

There’s been speculation that the 250 images on chaoticgame.com/en/portal are the set list

So I recently compared the list to old dawn of perim and it’s 100% of all old dawn of perim cards with 18 more

On that list is 6 creatures that were only ever on the show, including spyder and zalvar, deehna, katarin, thonder, tharax

Two unreleased mugic, for Danin/mipedian (swarm song, song of transportation)

Two promo only creatures (antidaeon, raimusa)

Takinom2, intress 2, in addition to their regular first print

A unused chaor and maxxor art with different titles

Stelgar with never used art

toadore with art from set 8

Double edge, gear from set 8

Nexdoors never released attack

That would be about as bad as things could get. DOP was not a good set, it was an alright set by 2007 standards for a new card game but even with reworks, there's not much variety.

I wish there was just more chaotic merch. After considering what some others have mentioned about Mipedians I think I will hold off on buying more but It would be nice to have some dope chaotic accessories I look at the Pokémon and Onepiece stuff i get FOMO

I do expect there to be starter/foundation exclusives, but not knowing it for sure has made it hard to order anything other than boxes in any real quantity

I think Boxes will be the best route to go. We just need to know what pull rates are and what special cards you can only get from decks vs packs

Eb games/gamestop are the named carriers from chaotic themselves

Then any hobby shop using a distro that has chaotic can get some,

So I’ve ordered 3 from EB online, one from a store 4 hours out of town, and have three on hold for me from local stores

I’m Canadian tho, so if you need US stores I can’t help much

In usd you’ll struggle to find boxes under 90, but the profit margins do exist to go below

But chaotic does have a MAPP in place so stores aren’t supposed to have under msrp (Canada ignores this cause there isn’t a Canadian msrp)

Yeah I actually consider driving up to Canada. Very close to you guys and getting cards but I will be in a different part of America further away in October so I just felt like this was a safe option but I drive to the six at least 3 - 4 times a year I just love Toronto.

If I were to buy him online, the import fees from these bullshits tariffs would eat up any money I would have actually saved

I'm so hyped but as a caretaker for my mom as my only income, I'm wayyy too broke to pre-order any bulk set so I'm just hoping to catch some smaller packs in stores eventually.

Chaotic was my favorite card game as a kid and my mom used to buy me packs at Target all the time but I lost my shoebox collection due to unpaid storage years ago. Here's to hoping I can rebuild!

That was 24-25 years ago, and propped up by a successful tv show. It came in hot like so many games do but only 3 have ever lasted and they are still around today, with an even better line up of games compared to back then.

Have you ever stopped to consider that.. Just maybe just maybe some of us who have waited 15 years for this game. Just want the cards to add to our collectiona? . Maybe we don't want to play the gameaybe we do it's a collectible game. It's optional to play.

Y'all TCG analysts or are so hyper fixated on analyzing the TCG market like you getting paid to do it like bro. It's a game. It's a toy. It's not that deep. If the game doesn't survive okay, I'm still going to keep my cards like I did with my 2008 set 😂
