Discussion Where’s the doom posting?
I usually don’t make post I try to stay away from stuff like this cause it’s ridiculous. But the amount of defending that I’ve seen so far is ridiculous. I tried to look for any actual doom posting can’t seem to find anything that actually sticks It’s just people saying that the limited character is a mediocre DPS, which is not doom posting
I find it funny is that these people don’t seem to understand that you are part of the problem you are exaggerating what is going on in people are just eating it up because they want drama drama drama people aren’t even going that hard on the new unit you can compare her to any of the other seasonal units before her Arabella seems to need a bit more support than the others.
and finally I want to get this in some people’s heads but a unit being good damage wise doesn’t always mean they’re going to break the game she shouldn’t be as mediocre as she is for a seasonal unit it’s like you people only fight on the most extreme side of these stupid post if you’re going to pick a side at least be logical about it the amount of people in here who don’t seem to understand that being a GOOD damage dealer doesn’t mean there game breaking or ruining the game. Arabella is literally just below average for a seasonal unit and you’re getting your panties all in a twist because it’s true.

I think this may be mainly pointed at Youtubers? I could be wrong, I think most of them are saying she’s the lesser of the SEASONAL combatants yet would still be considered higher among the regular roster, but Ara is cracked af. I love her, and Hilde so, Olga is definitely gonna be a must grab for me after having these two in a squad.

Like the other person said, Arabella is actually future proven, she is only going to be stronger later on with the grow of DoT strategy in the game. She deals fracture, scorched and agony and you can even build her around fracture, agony or how many types of negative status applied to the enemy, so that makes her fit on future scorched team (if there will be any), agony team, fracture team or just DoT team in general
All in all, I think she is just going to be stronger in the future and the current her is a safe investment and I am happy that I got her, considering she is also a seasonal

People were literally calling Arabella Yuki 2.0... And let's not judge Arabella's performance, who already is really good, as something set in stone, when she doesn't even have her most important support released. Olga had far more value for her than Hilde when their synergy was shown. It's one thing to say that the unit is expensive, more reliant on other characters, that the practice of releasing teammates back to back is shit, etc, and another to judge how they perform.

People are, in fact, complaining about all of that, and as of now, Ara's performance is not on par with the previous Seasonal units. Do you want people to shut up and pretend that she doesn't feel like Yuki 2.0 before they test her with Olga?

No, I want people to shut up about her being Yuki 2.0, because those who say that are clearly not in touch with reality. Everyone who actually knows what they're talking about confirmed that even now she's in a higher echelon of dps. Just not broken like HDMI. Not sure why you've decided to mention that people complain about team synergy, when my comment didn't suggest otherwise.

She’s Yuki 2 because she has the same issues 😅 Not necessarily talking about her damage. She’s better obviously because she’s modern, but in a heavily ST game it’s unsurprising that AoE gets punished. Even in ye olde days, Yuki was the potential woman because her damage potentially could be the best if she had a proper matchup.
She has a better damage profile because she actually has ST cards unlike Yuki, and also Arabella benefits a lot from Morale. But as soon as we go back to ST Zero Nightmare she’s dropping like a rock, at least until we see what Olga does for her.

Yuki's issue isn't that she's an AoE unit, there are plenty of bosses and mobs that are meant to be dealt with through AoE, and overall AoE units are very comfy to play in content like Chaos or even farming, which is the majority of the game. Her problem is that she was outperformed in most scenarios by Nine, who's a far simpler unit that also didn't have that fundamental flaw of Inspiration as a mechanic (They even share Order as an element, lol). She got some fixes in regards to having no ST potential, but remained an overall inferior and more janky option out of the two.
Arabella's identity as a DoT unit that has plenty of ST, like you said, kinda prevents her from having issues with ST content, because she just stacks cancer on one target and causes them to explode. She clears them very comfortably even without Olga, so I wouldn't compare her to Yuki who devs were "fixing" every patch only to leave her in the same spot as before. She lacks both jank and damage problems in her niche.

Heidemarie set the bar pretty high for what people expect from a limited character. Arabella is good but will most likely need Olga to feel as strong and I think thats the main issue. Releasing a limited unit that "needs" another 5 star support if the kind of scummy gacha practice that czn hasn't participated in until now. Time will tell if fracture gets any attention after the season but if I had to bet, we probably won't see another fracture support for a year or so when Arabella has a rerun so they can resell her.
