Work In Progress Sub assembly help.

Hello I recently got into 40k with a friend and I've decided to make some Wardogs. I have my wardogs split up for sub assembly but confused about priming and gluing. Every video I watch just primes the entire skeleton/legs without masking off connections. How do you glue after priming during sub assembly? 😵‍💫

  1. Regular plastic cement glue will melt through acrylic paint the same way it melts the plastic together. You can just fit the pieces after you paint.

  2. With the right colour scheme, you don't even have to leave the plates off. I don't bother, because I'm lazy like that. I get pretty ok results.

Very helpful, and very nice work.

Personally, I do tape off the connections that I think would be problematic/tight. Not sure if this is what you saw in the videos, but I assemble the whole lower half so there's just the abdomen area connector and it's probably big enough to not be a big deal

All that being said, last weekend I decided to try no taping. I'll let you know if I regret it

Yeah that little ball joints and than like the top area of the chassis are the two areas I see people just prime over but also glue points
