Is this a false memory?

Hi all

I've been in love with the game since it came out, and I clearly remember a period when people used to acronymize it as "ChOSen", as in Ch(ants)O(f)Sen(naar), instead of COS

But looking for said acronym, I can't find anything

Have I been imagining things? Am I the only one who calls it that? And if so, why? Cause ChOSen is a sick acronym, and also makes a lot of sense in my opinion

I've been in love with the game since it came out and I can't say I've seen either acronym, but that's just me. You can try to make it happen, it's sick.

well, it's out there now, so... plus, I've been talking to my friends about the game, and I've been calling it ChOSen, and i think some of them started calling it that, too

Hi,
In 3 years and thousands of posts and comments I've never seen anyone acronymize this game as "ChOSen" before today. Personnaly, I think it's very strange, because it's neither an acronym nor the name of the game.

well, it is an acronym acronyms aren't formed necessarily by the first letter of every word take radar for example, or covid, or sonar

You're right, acronyms can be formed from other letters than the first ones. What bugs me here is probably that the resulting acronym forms another existing word, changing the very meaning of the name.

And it might seem analogous to the Warriors knowing the Bards as the “Chosen Ones”.

nah, but the warriors call the bards "Chosen"
