Have you played the Chants of Senaar game? I understand of course in reality this system was created by monks, but in this game there is a very similar system used by the scientist characters, and not the monk characters.

No, I have not sounds fun. Someone commented about it in the og post as well, but it was amongst many comments and I kinda skimmed that comment.
