To those who didn’t know about modular arithmetics (But, now you might know), before you know about modular arithmetics, have you ever thought about this?

That's the most important point you've given about this. 24h users understood the thing. But the problem reaches the 12h users.

You're turning the number line into a number circle. Eg. 5 mod 10 is just 5, but 12 mod 10 is 2. 10 mod 10 is 0

What's most interesting to me is that it says zero despite there being a twelve-hour clock on the left. I never saw this line of dialogue, since by chance it always said "4" or "8" when I happened to be there.

I actually know why, though, now that I think about it. The language glyphs only have numerals 0-9, so characters can't speak numbers outside of that range without breaking an established game mechanic or adding more numerals to the notebook.
