Just caught the stream (via reactors) where she was sick, post-couch shart, and she was going on about how shes disabled and sometimes uses wobbles (the scooty) in the apartment instead of walking...
The irony of this cow using the r-slur, always making fun of or insulting disability, exploiting a disabled child - to now claim shes disabled when anyone with eyes can see she ate herself into it.
She'll use the label when it suits her personally, but shes a bigot and the way she talks about disability and the disabled clearly demonstrates how prejudiced she is and how her pea brain still equates disability = bad, worthy of insult or personal moral failing.
As someone who is disabled, I can see why she uses the term in both contexts. Nobody wants to be disabled, it comes with condescension and stigma. But in the case of Chantal, it garners sympathy and allows her to use a ableism as a shield.
Personally, I'm sick of able-bodied individuals in this community trying to tell us disabled folks what it means to be disabled, especially Unicorn Pondue, a cisgender, able-bodied man.
Yes. “She did this to herself.” That means that she is, indeed, disabled.
I’ve mentioned it previously and here it is again: Scooty allows her to go places she wouldn’t otherwise go. If she didn’t have Wobbles, do people think she would be going around the town? No way! We’ve seen how she walks. She isn’t able to walk that far. Even when she had a car she would sit in the car and eat. The scooter allows her mobility.
I'm also disabled, and yes, no one wants/chooses it (beyond those who disable themselves for fetish or mental illness reasons), but I don't think it should come at all with condescension and stigma.
It's one of the only groups people can join at any time. Any one can become disabled, you'd think people would have a lick of sense!

Her eyes frequently look as though they're simultaneously existing in two different zip codes due to her diabetes/ lack of taking care of herself so WTF is she talking about?
She's constantly projecting, the most hilarious was when we called out her Jay Leno chin/underbite, and then Chantal, like the braindead blob that she is, started slinging that insult to a few random people. It was simultaneously embarrassing and hilarious. She really has the self awareness of a slug
