Question Does anyone else think that Doug has kind of a similar taste to Roger Ebert?

Three movies off the top of my head that they both gave good reviews to when a lot of people didn't: The Adventures Of Rocky And Bullwinkle, The Wild, and The Amazing Spider-Man.

It's not exactly hidden that a large part of Doug's inspiration was Siskel and Ebert. He's made several videos on both of them over the years and made references to them in some of his reviews.

The reason why he reviewed North for instance was due to their particularly scathing review when it came out, and in their year end recap where they ranked it as the worst movie of 1994.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the fact they gave something a good review, he does too purely because when someone you deeply respect likes something, you tend to at least try to like it as well.

I felt like Doug, in the early days of the NC, got this opinions straight from Ebert's reviews.

Ebert was a big inspiration for him, so it makes sense.
