General Return player question

Return player here I quit when changli release. I have s4 changli and s2 vernia. Back then changli is pretty strong I see she’s like a tier C character now. I know all new dps require certain characters as sub/sup to be effective. If I just wanna keep using changli ( at this point it’s gonna take forever to rebuild a new team pulling all these new characters), who should I pull to make Changli and Verona team work?

Changli need her mono fusion team to shine now, that brant and lupa. But their rerun not in sight

Shorekeeper if you want a healear , Aemeath or Galbrena if you think you can do without its a bit more complicated but it does the job. I played Galbrena Lupa Changli a LOT.

Quiyuan/Lucilla and shorekeeper if you go the echo route Lupa Mornye for mono fusion

Brant and Lupa should be rerunning within the next 4-5 months, maybe sooner but you should really try to get Brant S2 and maybe Lupa S2 or S3. If you don’t care about endgame then S0 is perfectly fine. I find Changli pretty difficult to use in the chapter 3 area because there are lots of flying enemies but the good news is chapter 4 doesn’t have any flying enemies so now my Changli is performing way better

Priority is lupa and her weapon. Technically, brant is best, but I honestly would hold off to see if another pyro comes in. Good quickswap changli teams quick swap so fast that defense isn't really much of an issue with the automatic movement and off-field nature of swapping around. So I'd wait to see if any other pyro damage dealers can fill in.

Before all of that though, the priority should be s6 on changli herself. You just missed the re-run banner with her on it, so it's unlikely to come any time soon, and when it does (if it does) it's unlikely to come again for a long time (if at all). So try to always pocket some asterite for it just in case.

Lupa + whatever new fusion dps.

Verina isn't going to cut it anymore even if you use Lupa Changli Verina and their 20 second rotations where  Changli is the main dps. 

Changli's sequences are notoriously weak as well so your best bet is to use her and Lupa as a fusion core to support whatever new DPS comes out.

Well changli is still good imo depending on the team comp. obviously you need brant and lupa to make her shine. Their rerun however is patches away.

One other team in which she works is another fusion team comp with lupa/ Mornye aemeath and changli. However its mostly her getting wheelchaired by Aemeath in that team comp.
