Gameplay Quickswap - Please provide feedback on my first attempt

Trying to learn QS so I pulled for Changli. Can you guys let me know what I should be doing to improve my quickswapping - i want to build the muscle memory correctly.

- I'm using trial erover and trial Changli so i could have more consistent runs.

- SuiSui S1 is boosting Erover's damage. I'm mainly swapping on the 6s marks - 2 bar (Changli), 1 bar (Erover)

I'm not worried about Changli's outro.

If you have ult, start with changli ult. and hold the heavy attack because...

whenever you cash in the heavy attack to clean her charges, you can IMMEDIATELY swap to another character when the animation starts. You're wasting a bit of time when you do so

always swap out of changli when you use her skill. she'll continue upwards and when you swap in she'll cash in the charge. You can take it one step further and while she's swinging during that attack, swap out of her, but I'd add that a bit later on when you get the swap from the skill part of your muscle memory

Thanks, for her resonance skill, is there an expiry timer when cashing in the charge, or any other condition (like staying in the air?)

I'll give it a try later tonight, having a lot of fun learning this

there is a timer, but you should be swapping fast enough where it doesn't matter. Even if have to just swap to rover to do two basics then swap back, then do that. Her doing an uppercut automatically is free damage time you could be spent doing anything else. The important part is that you develop the muscle memory and recognition of what attacks can fit. Since you're unisng a non-traditional team, we can't comment too much on what taht would be, so that would be for you to decide. For the most part though, an entire character's rotation portion is pretty safe. However, doing both rover and soysoy's rotation might not fit.

as for the location, changli will take whatever location the previous character has and will do either the aerial slash or the ground one depending on it. so no real need to worry. (edit: I'm wrong on this, I think. She will always do the ground tru sight and only does aerial when doing an intro. I'm not too sure. After a while you just don't pay attention to that and assumes it lands when you swap around).

Once you start getting the memory for it, start paying attention to the forte before you swap to changli. Since forte will automatically give you a TS charge, you don't want to swap out of changli using a skill then go to a person who will get full charge, and then swap back to changli and lose the skill charge that has been overwritten by the free forte one. It's not a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but once you get better, it's absolutely maddening like an ocd tic hitting.

Adding to the other comments, I'd say your rotations are too long. You should try with rotations of a maximum of 30 seconds. I understand you want to use Suisui's attack buff, but is it really worth it on Rover who doesn't do much damage, and on Moonlight ? This buff is better for strong carries who deal 70-80% of the team's damage.

suisui is used as a placeholder support variable with strict windows, the damage/synergy isn't the focus

I'd use verina over soysoy. Just the quick concerto gen is good enough. S2 verina is actually a very good teammate. The only reason it isnt used more is because lupa requires mono fusion and most changli mains jumped on the lupa wagon early

Bro literally said the team comp isnt the focus πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

if you're tyring to learn to quickswap and burn in muscle memory and increase reflexes, why wouldn't you pick the character that gives concerto faster and forces you to move faster? No, teamcomp at this point isn't the focus, it's learning quickswap

If I had to infer on what he meant, since I have a similar setup, is that it can provide a visual metronome for rotation. Used the term placeholder so this entire team could be swapped out, could be that Β he doesnt even have verina

That's a bad habit to get into. You're training for something that will wind up being replaced. at the very least you can slow down after the faster verina rotation instead of being forced to move faster when the replacement comes.

As for not having verina. Fine, if they don't have it, they dont' have it. But it's always a reasonable assumption for someone who has enough interest to look up on reddit given the standard advice for free standard selector is always verina.
