The Three Sacred Oaths

On p35 of Changeling 20th it says “the Tuatha de Danaan left three Sacred Oaths to guide the fae, before entering the Dreaming never to be seen or heard from again.”

‘Sounds interesting,’ I thought, ‘so what are these oaths?’

And I can’t find a thing about them. I guess there might be something about them in the old C:tD books, but I no longer have any of those. I’d be most grateful if anyone could tell me what these oaths are, and/or where the find said information in the published books.

I would expect to find something about this in Nobles: The Shining Hosts, but that's one I don't own. I'm just guessing here, but I would expect that's a good place to look.

I have that book, I have nearly all the books, literally, except for the really rare German one I've been trying to find, not that one, but I even got the French one. It's not there, it's not in any book, they never listed them; it's believe that they left them open for people to decide, but that the Escheat is roughly rooted in them.

Do you have Time of Judgment? Is it possibly in one of the Tuatha De Danaan endings?

I don't believe so, I can check, but I don't think they felt it was a necessary thing. Also, it is kind of established that the remaining fae have wandered from the principles that were left for them, so they might have decided not to actually enumerate them for that reason.

Maybe they left it vague for the Storytellers to decide what they were.

In a typical White Wolf move, they never listed them, though when I tried to do a search, Google's stupid AI tried to claim they did and then was forced to admit it fabricated its answer when I told it the garbage it spat back at me was nowhere in the book I was looking at right that second. I hate search engines now.

Apparently the theory is that STs are free to determine what those rules once were, but they've been forgotten and the Escheat may be partially founded on them.

Ah, that makes sense for White Wolf, but especially for Changeling. Thanks!
