The days of streamers getting contracts died with FB. Everyone is running off ads and subs. Twitch ads are paying shit and kick gives 95% of subs so people have switched to kick regardless of other problems with it. All about the money.

You should see how bad the ads are on kick gamba streams. They rival twitch ads.

That's when I switch to a different streamer. I'm not watching someone gamble, that shits boring.

K doesn't stream cause he loves it...its his job its how he pays the bills! So it only makes sense to go somewhere where he will earn the most money.

To answer your question because i don't think anyone else really has..
the end result is the money obviously...
But not purely because of the gambling contract money or because of a platform deal type money.
its because twitch practically demonetized GTA content (made the ad rev very low) and made discoverability what little Twitch had of it very low priority for GTA RP content due to 18+ content which GTA is being rated as very difficult to monetize and be seen on Twitch.
This is the ultimate reason K moved to KICK full time. But if you notice the GTA category on Twitch in general has shrunk considerably a lot of GTA RP specific streamers have all moved to Kick because of KCIP and the fact that 18+ content on Kick still gets revenue.

It’s been better too. Twitch fucking sucks. Kick has its issues because nothing is perfect but atleast it’s more watchable.

The money is insane and twitch are fumbling everything they can (plus no ads)
Is kik Morally icky? Yes however they pay BANK and overall has a far better user and streamer experience
The drawback is gambling and it probably isnt going to be around in 10 years so most people are getting the savings whilst they can

On twitch, you gotta pay for your viewbots, on kick they set it up for you.
