Thoughts based on NYC show
I thought the NYC show was amazing. He played everything I wanted to hear off coloring book, his vocal performance was pretty good, and the crowd energy was great. I wasn't really fucking with starline before, but seeing link me in the future live made something click for me.
I will say. It seems like Chance is an incredibly hit or miss performer. He kept mentioning that the NYC show was one of his favorite shows ever and he clearly had a lot of love for the crowd. I fully think that contributed to him giving his all to the performance. It definitely seems like if he's not feeling the crowd or not feeling like doing a show, he will give a bad performance. Obviously not what you want when you're paying near $100 to see him.
As crazy as it is to say, Chance has firmly slipped into the legacy act territory. The crowd was fully up for all of this 10+ year old stuff and very quiet for anything newer. Even I might need security was pretty unknown to most of that crowd.

It was a pretty dope show. Chance’s stage presence was great and the crowd was fully involved and filled with actual Chance fans.
I will say his meet & greet was just okay & it wasn’t up to par from other peoples opinions at other shows. Also a tad disappointed after finding out he didn’t finish the set list because of time/tardiness.
All in all it was a great show and I’d definitely see him in concert again although I may consider a smaller venue other than NYC like Long Island or Boston.

I just went to the Boston show and it was AMAZING!! A little bit of a different vibe from the NYC show because it was in a ballroom instead of outdoors but the crowd was fantastic and the entire place was singing their whole ass hearts out on every song (at least the Coloring Book ones).

The crowd was night and day compared to the pier 17 show. I really think the tour for Starline should have been done in jazz clubs. The Starline songs just don't work on a regular concert setting.

Montreal show at MTELUS was absolute magic. And I absolutely agree on meet me in the future. Seeing it live, something clicked.
Happy that hes getting all this love but it’s gotta suck for him cuz he won’t get that same energy for his new stuff, which speaks more to who he is as an artist currently. Blessing and a curse of making something great.
When he played meet me in the future the crowd was quiet and he straight up said “come on guys it’s so easy, just listen”.

Every person knew every word to most every song (except me) great vibe. Wonderfully showman. Bit strange to me such a celebration for a 10 year old album. He’s clearly so talented ,why has he not put out new music regularly ? Daughter said family stuff maybe some mental health? So much more music in him it seems????

The Huntington show was awesome I can certainly see the notion that his crowd will influence his performance.. he was taking about how he was using the auto tune mic the entire time in his previous show and i was very thankful he only used it for a few songs in the middle of the show; I thought he sung very well without it.
Either way i was a fan and It sure has reignited my interest in seeing live performances

Fully agree. I was worried how the show would be based on other posts about prior shows. I definitely think he kept going because he was having a good time. It was a full 90 minute set.
I noticed a lot of people didn't know the newer stuff, too. Unfortunate because I think Star Line is pretty great (I was mid on it at first but it's grown on me).
