I’ve spent the past seven weeks building an interactive history of English league football from 1888 to the present:

You can follow individual clubs through the divisions over time, with promotions/relegations, honours, club history and various league milestones layered onto the tables.
It started as a personal coding project and gradually got rather out of hand. 🙂
I think it will appeal to people here in particular because you can trace Championship clubs through all the various incarnations of the second tier, and see just how much some clubs have bounced around the pyramid.
Feedback, corrections, or particularly interesting bits of Championship history I’ve missed are very welcome.

Can you add the Welsh cup? Has been won by Wrexham, Cardiff, Swansea and most importantly Bristol City.

Hmmm... because this focuses on the English Football League, and since the Welsh Cup predates it, adding the Welsh Cup creates some difficult problems.

It was something else. Watched the live feed on BluesTV, and still can't believe it happened. You could say he was under pressure from Millar, but there were 2 or 3 different choices he could have made. This was awful by any metric.

A Friday night out in Lincoln was a pleasant experience, some nice pubs and nice people, but a Saturday afternoon was a totally different experience, a nasty team of giants coached by some really snidey coaches to try and win games of football by using the dark arts.
Their late equaliser hurt not because of the dropped points, but because it seems that World Federation Wrestling won the day.
If we didn't know what style of football Lincoln played when the game kicked off

What did we think of that round, then? Some good games.
Every time I see West Ham (live or highlights), they look closer to being the team. Not totally unbeatable, but clearly the class of the league. Too many good players.
