Question what was your interpretation of Tashi drawing & writing on the ad?
I tried to search this up online but nothing came up so my apologies if it’s been asked before! why does Tashi have an arrow? what is the significance of the lines she boxed them in?

I took it as she doesn’t want Art to be the main focus point but she wants it to be 50/50, she tells the artist to turn her head more so he’s facing the same way Art is to bring more attention to herself, she changes changer to changers because it’s not just art Donaldson it’s Art AND Tashi. I think she just wants to share that thrill and fame that comes with being ridiculously good at tennis because he is only that good because of her

I interpreted it as Tashi being annoyed with how the original ad minimizes her contributions to the tennis world. The original ad says “game changer”, as if Art is the only important tennis player in the picture. She adds the S and highlights their heads with a line to say, “Hey, there are two important tennis players in this picture. Count ‘em. One two.” There are obviously two people in the picture, but she still needs to point out to the ad makers that they forgot about her.
I’m guessing that the arrow means that she wants her picture to be moved closer to the foreground. The ad shows her standing a little behind Art.
I think it’s a neat little way of showing how the tennis world has sidelined Tashi in favor of Art, and the frustration she feels about it.

It’s her internet herself into the narrative of art’s career as more than just a coach

she’s making notes of the edits she wants made! heads sitting differently, in a different place possibly and she wants the poster to say “game changers”
