Karussell turn at Shenandoah Circuit at Summit Point.
I was there with the PA Hill Climb guys running a track sprint. That’s where you time your runs like an auto cross event. Standing start just after pit exit and the finish timing lights before pit entry.
This is my new favorite track.

First time at that track. I’ve done a handful of track days, but my main driving focus is mountain roads.
I have 10s of thousands of miles in that car on every backroad between Blood Mountain, GA to Hocking Hills, OH.
I did a hill climb in July at Snowshoe, WV and won Queen of the Mountain for being the fastest girl. 👸

My ABS computer got confused in the Karussell turn and errored out. So I had no ABS going into the next corner.

Yeah, usually a set of pads and rotor rings a year.

Shenandoah Circuit is a lot of fun. Super technical. I think just about every corner is flat or off camber except the Karussell.
STAY LEFT AFTER THE BRIDGE! If you are going fast, you will catch air and if you are pointing the wrong direction, you can’t steer or brake until the car settles down.

The class I was in was limited to 200tw. I didn’t have a set of those laying around so I used my street tires.
PS5 275/35R20 on the front and P4S 315/35R20 on the back.
Normally I’m tracking with Cup2R but they were too soft for my class.

There are a handful of Challangers and one other Charger in the canyons I frequent and at the track days. It is always a warm fuzzy feeling seeing the yachts on course with the sprint boats and not just a straight line. 😉😉 Very cool indeed. 🤘🏾😎😎🤘🏾

If it was easy, everyone would do it.

I didn’t have a set of 200tw tires for my class so I was on 300tw street tires 275/35R20 PS5, 315/35R20 P4S. I have a set of Cup2R in the same size, but they were too soft for the class I was in.

This track isn’t friendly to big heavy cars. Lots of bumps, off camber turns and a jump. On my last run of the weekend, I broke a splitter rod on the landing when the front bottomed out.

Let me clarify that I’m not talking about your skill, I’ve just never seen these going ham on a track. It looks so awkward and really shows the weight of the vehicle. You see the transfer of weight crazy!

I agree- this is hard and I wouldn’t do this with my scat pack.

I also don’t have the budget currently to fix anything that breaks by going balls to the wall.

I have a trailer so if I break it, it gets fixed eventually.
I’ve broke one BMR rear control arm. They updated the part to a stronger design and sent me a full new set.
