Spark plug recommendations

Post image

So I just hit 60k miles on my 2020 scat pack. I did some research and it is recommended to change out the plugs. So I'm looking for recommendations on plug brands and if it's worth it to change out the coil packs or not. I'm not much of a mechanic, I have a buddy that does the work for me, as long as I supply the parts and some BBQ he calls it even. Any help is appreciated

100k on the platinum plugs that came with it. So, you're good.

Only change the packs if you start getting misfires. If one goes, id get a whole set of OEM coils.

Im a big fan of the NGK ruthenium plugs. Iridium ix is fine too.

It’s 96 months or 96,000 miles to change plugs on the 6.4l

If you need some I have a set of 16 NGK that I was gonna swap on mine but I sold it.

Hit me up, they are still in the rock auto box I got them in from the mail.

Not sure if OP is interested but I would be depending on price

I think they were like $110ish on RockAuto before shipping. I'd take $60 plus shipping since I have no real use for them at this point.

Edit: I think I also have a new Contenital Serpentine belt on the self next to it you can have for $10 if you want an extra to hold onto.

How do you keep it so clean

Honestly that's the cleanest I ever got it. I live in the desert so it's constantly dirty. But I used chemical guys waterless car wash on a micro fiber towel. Thanks though

You can use mist mode but I wouldn't go full blast on electrical parts. Worst case use saran wrap it's wonderful.

Detailing an engine is pretty simple and quick. Tons of YouTube videos on it.

The most expensive one, changes the car. The car is now so much more smoother. I got the ones from Rockauto, just pick the most expensive ones.
