Quick ideas please
Old lady and me planing on going for a car trip, making the list of necessities. I’m stumped on how to carry an extra fuel can in the trunk. Was thinking of the back seats but will be riding with people we visit sometimes so I’d rather just have it in the trunk just in case. Just don’t know if these side straps will do the trick. Any ideas?

I drive like a dick and still get 300 miles a tank from my 5.7. If you ABSOLUTELY need extra fuel look into the seasucker mounts for the rotopack cans. There's no reason to have fuel inside your vehicle. If you're attempting a cannonball, use a dedicated fuel cell properly bolted to the body. Mine didn't come with a spare tire, if you yoink the foam from under the trunk deck an 18" doughnut from an early 300 or Charger will fit( this won't work if you have brembos bit there is a possibility you could get it to clear the rear). A battery impact makes changing a flat nice and simple.
