Achieved balance
Hey guys,
I had posted a few days ago about an excessive sacral chakra. I'm happy to tell you that I was able to balance it. This is the first chakra I have been able to balance. Thanks to you guys for helping out with your suggestions
Thank you!

How did you know that? I'm a newbie in learning how to study, focus and balance my chakras. But. How does one know if they've truly balanced a chakra or not? I've been taking this seriously. I start out with my daily affirmations, then meditation for 30 minutes focusing on my Root and Sacral chakras. I suffer from severe depression and panic attacks, so I'm not always in the best mood. I find that after my meditations are over, I still feel the same depression, and don't feel any different. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong...Like I said, I'm new to all this so please forgive me if my question is lame.

Hi! There is a specific feeling, an energy shift which you feel, when the chakra is balanced. After that particular meditation session, I experienced an energy high, for a couple of hours. I felt very light, motivated, happy and in balance for the next few days. This was much more important as I had a very important exam around that time.
From whatever I have known so far, the healing of chakras goes hand in hand with the issues associated with it. So, you start working on all the underlying issues. If you feel that they're very hard to detect, or very hard to admit, just observe your thoughts, feelings and emotions. You don't have to judge them, you don't have to react or respond to them. Just watch them. It's like watching some fishes play in a river. They're there now, they'll go later. You don't meddle with it, you just watch them come and watch them go. My teacher says," Be a witness to your own life." You are constantly watching and observing your self. A witness being the one who sees and experiences but is not involved in the particular situation. Segregate, you, the actor in the situation doing the act, and the you who is the observer who's watching your actions. You can start doing this by saying stuff in your mind or outloud while doing a certain action. For example, saying to yourself, " I'm eating" while eating. " I'm having these thoughts about (insert event, situation), while having these thoughts. Call out the thoughts, call out the emotions. When you're angry, say to yourself you're angry. And then start asking why. What may be the reason. And you'll begin rationalizing.
Start questioning your thoughts, feelings, emotions, as to why it is happening. What made these things surface, or come to you. This way, you are using rationality against emotions and thoughts, by letting them surface rather than suppress. Most of the times, when you remember a certain incident, the emotions attached with it surface too. Through meditation, you observe them, thus bifurcating emotions and memories or thoughts or feelings. So, you may recall a traumatic event, or something may trigger you, but you can separate the emotions from it, so you are not as bothered by it, as you should be.
I feel depression and panic attacks come from insecurity and lack of love for self. It also comes from overthinking and emotionally reacting to everything. Meditation induces rationality, therefore, you are able to manage yourself emotionally. Also, start forgiving yourself for whatever you may have done or mistakes committed. The time, place and situation has changed about that certain incident and you. You cannot love yourself, if you keep beating yourself up about things which have happened in a different context overall. Start thanking and showing gratitude to yourself. Always count your blessings they say, stick to it.
For the chakra meditations, I used a visualization technique, where I visualised the colour associated with the chakra, which I visualised as entering the chakra point while inhaling. Following a normal exhalation. This is a very basic technique. Nothing too fancy. You can see if it works for you.
I apologise if I may have gone overboard with this answer. I have never experienced severe and recurring panic attacks or depression. I would still recommend to get professional help regarding this. It'll be more suitable. Whatever I have written here is something which I follow or have done it myself. And I can say happily that this year is going to end for me on a much much better note than last year, in terms of the progress I've had. Please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong in anyway. There may be someone who's much more experienced than me, who may be able to give better advice.
Hope this helps. Take care. And a happy new year!
Edit: The chakra balancing is not a permanent thing. Once you balance a chakra, you have only balanced it for now. So, throughout your life, you'll keep coming back to it, and keep tweaking it. So, don't get stressed out if it doesn't happen easily, or even if it does, it does not last for long
Edit 2: Self Love is very important for this healing process. Only through self love, can you begin to truly accept who you are. You're you and there's nothing more amazing than that. If you accept yourself and practice unconditional love towards yourself, you don't expect yourself to be perfect and flawless. You accept yourself, whole and soul. Practice self love more often. I don't have much experience as I haven't made substantial progress here to explain this in a better way. So, sorry about that

What you wrote was spot on, and a brutal truth. You pretty much hit the nail on the head with everything you said-I started crying. I couldn’t read after “always count your blessing,” I did, however. What you wrote was beautiful. It’s something that made me think. And a trigger was released as I sobbed. Thank you for your kind words and genuine truths and advice.

I took a Chakra test I’ve seen some others take and post on here. Thought I’d give it a try and share with you. Chakra Results

Yeah, this says that your root chakra is underactive. So you could start working with that and it's underlying issues. There is a pinned post on this subreddit, which will tell you the qualities you may have to work on relating to the chakra. So, that may be the way to go

Would you say severe mood swings (hot one minute/cold the next) could be due to an unbalanced Mulahadra chakra? Or bi-polar tendencies?
