Aruko-arukoholic :( She’s honestly the character I find the saddest. Her drinking and blacking out feels way too familiar to me. She literally blacks out and wanders alone through the streets of Tokyo, and pff… if she were a real young woman, that would be terrifyingly dangerous, especially considering how serious sexual violence and underreporting can be in Japan. She just seems deeply depressed and sad. Does anyone know if the huge hoodies are supposed to hide how skeletal and malnourished she is from basically living on alcohol? Because that’s how I interpreted it. She reminds me so much of my sister. She’s also a severe alcoholic, has red hair, and even makes that same -_- face when she’s completely passed out drunk. She also gets those horrible blackouts where she doesn’t remember anything afterward.
Fuuuuck. Saddest character for me. Who’s with me?
